Q: When is the building going to be ready for move-in?
A: The building is set to open August 1st for move-in.
Q: How much is the furniture package, and can I get an unfurnished apartment if I want?
A: The furniture package is currently free (while supplies last). Yes, you can request an unfurnished apartment if you already have furniture, sure!
Q: Does anything come included in the rental rates?
A: Yes! High speed internet (wired and WiFi), an extensive cable package, and water/trash/recycling/sewer are all included in the market rent. You will only be responsible for paying your electricity and gas bill each month, which will be billed directly from the leasing office. No need to worry about setting up utilities prior to move-in!
Q: How much is parking and how does parking work?
A: Parking is currently being offered at a special rate of $50/month. There are enough parking spaces for every person in the building to have their own, reserved space. Parking is covered. When signing you lease, please let the agent know that you need parking.
Q: Can I qualify on my own or will I need a co-signer?
A: If you can prove that you earn three times the monthly rent per month (gross), then you can certainly qualify on your own. Otherwise, you can sign a Financial Aid Agreement (if applicable) or select someone to serve as your Guarantor.
Q: Does my unit come with a washer and dryer?
A: All apartments come with full-size washers and dryers as an included feature free of charge.
Q: What other appliances come with the apartments?
A: A stainless steel microwave (above the range), a stainless steel electric stove, stainless steel refrigerator with ice maker, and a stainless steel dishwasher.
Q: How far is the community from the Law School?
A: Fewer than 400 steps – a 5 minute walk.
Q: How far is the community from Darden?
A: Fewer than 600 steps – less than a 10 minute walk.
Q: If I don’t have roommates, what should I do?
A: Our team is dedicated to helping you find a perfect roommate(s). Our roommate matching program is simple and effective.
Q: How long is the lease term?
A: The lease term is 12 months and goes from August 1st – July 31st of the following year.
Q: How do I go about reserving my apartment?
A: You can apply and lease directly online from our homepage. Simply click the button “Lease Now” and set up an account to begin the process. In less than 10 minutes, you can have your own apartment reserved. Our staff will be instantly notified when you lease online and will contact you to go over the next steps.
